Angela Adams
Owner
I began my career working for the largest volunteer rescue squad in the United States as an EMT-Basic for the Virginia Beach Rescue Squad in 2002. This is where I found my passion to help others. During that time I received my Associates Degree for Emergency Medical Services and became an EMT-Intermediate. I worked as an Emergency Room Technician in adult emergency rooms and pediatric emergency rooms for 17 years. This is where I gained a lot of my clinical skills and patient care skills to include problem solving, activities of daily living and emotional support by working close to nurses and physicians with different procedures, traumas, and medical conditions. During that time I received my Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration.
I moved near the Danville area in 2022 and began working for a Home Health Care agency where I became a Personal Care Aide. This opened my eyes to a need in this area to help seniors and others maintain independence outside of their home. This is where I came up with Heart Transportation LLC to provide a different service by accompanying clients to their appointments (where I can be an advocate for them and their family), shopping, grocery trips, etc. This was one of the needs from a client I worked for that stated all she does is stay home. She did not want to keep bothering her family with rides, etc.
So now I would like to use my previous experience and incorporate it with my Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Company to help others in need.
Mission
Heart Transportation LLC mission is to bridge the critical gap between clients and healthcare. Also to provide access to maintain independence through dependable, safe, and professional transportation solutions to make any journey accessible to all.
Vision
Vision - To provide Non-emergency Medical Transportation to emphasize on safety and client satisfaction, ensuring that everyone, has access to timely and reliable healthcare transportation.
